Cover the pot and let the mixture steep for at least 30 minutes — the longer it sits, the stronger the flavor and effects.
Strain and serve:
Pour the mixture through a fine sieve into a carafe or glass bottle. Optionally, sweeten with a bit of honey or add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.
Drink warm or cold:
You can drink the beverage lukewarm in the morning on an empty stomach,
or sip it throughout the day, preferably before meals.
