4. Frequent infections and wounds that do not heal
The immune system weakens considerably. Therefore, the following may appear:
-
Constant colds.
-
Urinary or respiratory infections.
-
Wounds that take a long time to heal.
Even minor injuries can become complicated. Often, infections don’t cause fever, but rather confusion or increased fatigue. This is a sign that the body is no longer defending itself as effectively as before.
5. Changes in breathing and circulation
As the body approaches its final stage, breathing and circulation change:
-
Breathing becomes irregular or shallow.
-
My hands and feet feel cold.
-
The skin may appear pale or bluish.
This happens because blood is concentrated in the vital organs. Shortness of breath may also occur when speaking or moving.
In this phase, the priority is comfort: good ventilation, comfortable posture and tranquility.
