Imagine finding an old family photograph, faded and yellowed by time. A seemingly ordinary image: a father, a mother with a baby, and four well-behaved children in front of a brick wall. Nothing special… Until, after digital restoration, a detail emerges.

A ghostly spectacle,  hidden in the shadows . A penetrating, almost unreal view  . Who was this mysterious woman and how did she come up with the idea for a photo that probably dates back to  1820 , long before the invention of photography?
