An arranged marriage to save an inheritance

On my thirtieth birthday, my father gave me his ultimatum: if I wasn’t married before I turned thirty-one, I would be excluded from the family inheritance. No discussion, no negotiation, just a cold and final rule.
After several uninteresting dates with women more interested in my name than in me, I met Camille, a waitress in a small café. She was down-to-earth, natural, smiling, and above all, sincere. It was then that I proposed this strange deal to her: a one-year marriage, only on paper, in exchange for financial compensation. After a year, we would divorce discreetly.
She agreed.
But not for the reasons I imagined.
On the wedding night, an unexpected revelation

Everything seemed to be going exactly as planned.
