10. Never give up
After 55 long years of arduous work, Gandhi achieved one of his missions, but his struggle was not yet over. After securing India’s independence, the philosopher continued to save people from the poorest neighborhoods. This teacher showed us that it’s not how much we fight, but how we fight for what we want; more than a battle, it’s about the perseverance with which we confront anything or anyone that hinders our goals.
That ability to become unpredictable was what made Mahatma Gandhi a man who managed to unite the strength and, above all, the love of hundreds of hearts to advocate for the same cause, personifying a fresh leader who acted like no other human being in history, because as you have already read, he demonstrated that the brutality of war can also be answered with wisdom.
