Crispy Southern Fried Salmon Patties – A Classic Comfort Recipe

1. Prepare the Salmon Mixture

Open the can of salmon and drain it thoroughly. Place the salmon in a mixing bowl and gently flake it with a fork.

Add the finely chopped onion, cornmeal,  flour,  egg, and mayonnaise. Mix everything together until the ingredients are evenly combined and form a thick mixture.
